It's raining a bit hard here in Alma as I write this in the Community Access Centre on a very old computer. Yesterday was busy and a lot of fun and John wisely wanted to go for a hike this morning. We went on the Coppermine Trail and hiked 4.4 kilometres. There was no rain while we hiked, but it was raining a little bit after we returned. But we were able to fire up the high-tech camp stove in the morning to boil water for a cup of coffee for me and then after the hike I was able to fry up some veggie barvarian sausages and more hot water for a nice lunch with hot chocolate.
I'm not sure if we'll stay until Sunday morning now, since it's so wet, but our tent seems to be keeping the water out, so that is a very good thing. No cooking outside tonight in the rain, but we'll have a nice meal inside in Alma. We were also able to record some sound which will show up in a future Bad Metaphor podcast.
